Comet Tsuchinshan–ATLAS

Will recently stepped outside on our balcony at dusk to see if he could spy the Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet in the southwestern sky. It wasn’t visible initially.

Next he used the Night Sky app to get a better idea of where to look. There it was! Next, he grabbed some binoculars to actually see the thing. Success!

Finally he used his IPhone with a 3 second exposure to photograph it. Here are the results.

Until next time.
