If you find yourself visiting Carlsbad Caverns, take the time to visit nearby Sitting Bull Falls.
The falls are surrounded by desert.

Turn around and enjoy the view.
There are many miles of trails in the area.
This place feels very isolated and peaceful. We like that.

I enjoy seeing these photos from your traveling adventures. I have never hiked in that part of the USA. How precious water (and a waterfall!) must be in that ecosystem… Thank you for this mini-trip out west!
