As we travel northward we sometimes feel like we’re surfers riding the crest of a wave.
Spring is to our south. Winter is to our north. Dandelions freshly in bloom live on the crest of the wave. To the north of the crest there are no blooms. To the south of the crest the dandelions are looking fatigued.
Some days we see winter while some days we see dandelions.

Another restaurant in town, Keluli Cafe, describes itself as a locally owned Aboriginal Cuisine Cafe Coffee Shop. The bread served at the cafe is called Bannock. It was delicious.

Almost every town we visited in Canada had a curling club. Who knew.

A partial sun dog.

Some locals out for a walk with their pets.

Looks like we’re on the front of that wave as winter returns for awhile.

Until next time.
