Alaska Trip – Our Master Plan

We have finally put together a master plan for our Alaska trip!  Trip planning is an ongoing process, and even though we’ve already started our trip, we’ve still been adding and reviewing choices.

See our trip on the map below.

We use http://www.rvparky.com as our trip planner.  RV Parky can be used by visiting their web site as well as downloading their IOS app for the Apple tablet and phone.  RV Parky is useful as it lets us state a date of arrival and duration of a stay at any given location.

Each of the lettered pointers on the map represent a stop along the way to Alaska and back.  Pointer overlapping on the map occurs whenever we are staying at the same location on more than one occasion or two destinations are close together.

Our trip plan stays west on the way north and east on the way back.

Our trip is currently designed to last 233 nights, for a distance of 10,718 miles, a driving time of just under 192 hours, and the consumption of 1340 gallons of fuel.  All that without including recreational driving once we reach our overnight stays!
