Just down the road from where we were staying in Pitlochry is the UK’s first 100 percent plant based hotel. Everything at the hotel, from the food they served, to the furnishings in the hotel, to the energy used was all derived from plants.
They served small plate appetizers for lunch, so we decided to give it a try. The food was delicious. So much so that we went back for a second visit. While we were there we visited with their sommelier, Lucy. She was very knowledgeable and eagerly shared her knowledge of wines. We had a lot of fun learning and visiting.



This was an orange wine. I had never heard of an orange wine so I gave it a try. It was quite good.
