We’ve been busy lately, but not traveling.
Our plan for 2023 was to take a short hiatus from traveling to buy a small class C RV, put the fifth wheel in storage, and visit family in Little Rock. After that we planned to be back on the road and head for Alaska in our brand new camper.
Here’s the new camper.

This camper is proof that we are impulse buyers. When we started 2022 we had no idea we would be buying this. If you need more proof, we leased an apartment at the beginning of 2023. We hadn’t planned to move into an apartment either. However, we found the almost perfect apartment on the Arkansas River. We decided we wanted one particular apartment and figured it would be several years before it would become available. Much to our surprise it was a couple of months, not several years. Not wanting to miss the opportunity, we completely changed our plans.
We are now officially residents of North Little Rock, Arkansas. We have a beautiful view along the river trail.

And the interior is spacious and modern.

Denise bought furniture and made this our home. Now we want to travel internationally since the cats can stay at home. So, cancel the Alaska trip for now. Even with this lovely apartment we still have the travel bug. So one of us had an idea. Why don’t we head straight north into Canada for 21 days? Okay. Let’s do it!
Here’s the plan. Quickly drive to Canada, then hike a lot when we get there.

Our first stop is Kansas.

We are currently in Manitoba, Canada and we have seen several interesting places. Details to follow.
Until next time….
Looks like ou guys are having a blast, I hope you enjoy!
