One of our travel goals is to visit at least one winery in every state within the Union. More than that, we need to buy at least one bottle of wine from each winery.
Drum roll, please. We made it. Rhode Island was number 50.
We chose to visit Newport Vineyards.
They grow their own grapes.
We were free to walk the avenues of vines.
The grapes were just starting to grow.
They had chairs and corn hole games among the vines.
What comes next??? It has been suggested that we try a brewery in every state. It has also been suggested that we start over and try a second (or third or fourth) winery in every state. I have also considered that there are wineries in other countries. Maybe we will start a winery in every country tour. Whatever we do, I hope we can continue our adventure.
