Incredible colors are common at Yellowstone, especially the pools of water. The pools are a variety of colors. The water is very hot and acidic. It is hot enough to blister your skin and as acidic as the liquid from a car battery. The deep aquamarine water is so hot that nothing lives in it, making the water clear and a blueish color. The other colors of water come from microbes living in the water. The result is a rainbow of colors from blue, to orange, red, green, and yellow. Enjoy the colors.

Until next time.
