Crystal Bridges is a must visit while in northwest Arkansas. The museum opened in 2011 and was the first major art museum to open in the U.S. since 1974. It is located in the small town of Bentonville because the Walton Family (of Walmart fame), provided the majority of the funding for the museum. Admission is free.
A room with lights and mirrors is one work of art. You walk into the piece and then walk out at a different location.

Here’s a man resting on a bench. Turns out he is just another work of art. He isn’t real, but he sure looks real.

The museum buildings are modern and interesting to study. They are works of art, too.

Here’s another large work of art.

A Frank Loyd Wright home was moved here and meticulously rebuilt.

This is Will’s photographic art work. He calls it a reflection of museum in a pond.

Until next time.
