Ohio has many interesting museums to offer. One museum we’d had on our bucket list from the start was the Neil Armstrong Museum honoring the first person to walk on the moon.
One thing that makes this museum special is that it is located in Neil’s hometown of Wapakoneta, Ohio.
This museum covers space exploration and the Apollo program in detail.
An attractive model of the Saturn V rocket ship. Will attended and witnessed the Apollo 13 liftoff.

Neil attended the local high school. Who knew what his future would bring?
Wapakoneta is especially proud of its local hero.
