Ever hear of KISS, the rock music group? They’re world famous. But, perhaps, their most inspiring performance was held at Cadillac, Michigan.
Why would a group like KISS perform at a high school homecoming dance? Apparently the football team started their season off with a losing streak of 0 wins and 2 losses. The football coach decided to inspire his team by playing KISS music in the dressing room and at practice. The team won every game for the rest of the season. The team gave KISS credit for their winning streak. The football coach contacted the band and asked them to play at the next year”s homecoming game. When KISS heard the story, they agreed to play.
The entire town went all out to welcome the group, and apparently they really enjoyed their visit. Even the town leaders got into the spirit and donned KISS makeup.
KISS returned to Cadillac in 2015 for the 40 year reunion! Apparently the concert meant as much to the members of the band as it did to the community.
