This young man is running from Kenai, Alaska to Key West, Florida.
Most of us would be exhausted after driving that distance.
He sometimes runs over 70 miles a day. That’s right. No joke!
We’ve passed him several times. It’s the tortoise and the hare in action. We pass him. We camp somewhere for 3 nights. We travel to our next stop and pass him along the way. We’ve passed him at least 5 times, which means about 1,000 miles of travel. We haven’t seen Pete in quite awhile but we hope to see him again down the road.
Here he is as we passed him one day.

Here’s his progress map. The large arrow represents his current location. The track of blue circles across the contiguous states appears to be a warmup run for his current jaunt.

You can follow his progress and learn of his endeavors at www.petesfeetaa.com.
How awesome can you get. Takes a lot of determination. You just have to have some admiration for this individual.
