Welcome to Horse Lake in British Columbia. This beautiful lake is located near the town of 100 Mile House.
We had a bit of difficulty pulling into our rustic, slightly uphill, wet and slippery site. Fortunately, after we got some of our truck’s wheels onto pavement and engaged 4 wheel drive we were successful.

These two eagles set up shop nearby to better observe the lake. The resident crows were not happy about their new neighbors.
End of day.
Sunset. Each evening we were sung to sleep by the Common Loon. Its call is eerie yet beautiful.
