May, 2018 – Osoyoos, British Columbia and the NK MIP Cellars

I know it looks like we spend a lot of time at wineries, but in our defense, we set a goal of visiting a winery in every state and province that we visit.

Sometimes, as in this case, we go there because that is where the scenery lives.

Osoyoos is the kind of destination where you crest the hill or turn the corner and a great expanse reveals itself to exclamations and gesticulations.

Pronounce it anyway you choose.

We arrived at lunch time so we took advantage of their outdoor cafe with a view.

We chose a table with a vinyard-side view.

This area of Canada has many vinyards and wine tasting destinations.

For those not happily ensconced in their very own house on wheels, the hotel next door appears to be a lovely option.

Oh, and the wine was excellent, too.
