Dillon is a small community in Southwest Montana. The population has been staying steady at between 4000 and 5000 since at least 1990. Perhaps this is because she lies in an expansive valley surrounded by beautiful mountains covered in snow.
The people here are friendly, even the children. All that we have met are perfectly willing to strike up a conversation at a moment’s notice.

While staying in Dillon, we made day trip to Butte to ride one of their bike trails.

The trail starts next a railroad track.

Denise riding across one of the fast flowing creeks.

Snowy peaks all around, but this trail is paved and fairly level.

And finally back at the RV park.

Denise looks cold, but it’s beautiful, with the peaks in the background.
